Exercising your imagination
Exercising Your Imagination (A.K.A. Mental Yoga for the Wild Soul)
Let’s talk about the most underrated superpower we’ve got: our imagination.
And no, I’m not talking about daydreaming about running away from your life to live in a yurt in Sedona with zero responsibilities and perfect lighting (although… same). I’m talking about the real-deal soul tool that can literally reshape your nervous system, rewrite your story, and pull magic into your reality like a damn magnet.
Imagination is a Spiritual Muscle
The same way you exercise your body, you gotta work out your imagination. If you don’t? It atrophies. It gets crusty. It starts whispering boring-ass thoughts like “just be realistic” and “you’re too old to try that.”
NO.
We don’t shrink to fit a life we’ve outgrown—we expand through creative visioning.
And imagination is the playground where that expansion begins.
What It Looks Like to Work That Muscle
For me? Exercising my imagination looks like:
Playing music and closing my eyes until the song becomes a movie scene in my mind
Laying on the floor and asking myself, “What if nothing was off limits? Then what?”
Using AI to bring my wild-ass dream avatars to life
Writing letters from my higher self to my current self
Doodling like a 5-year-old with a glitter pen and no plan
Dreaming up weird businesses, sexy altars, retreat centers on wheels, and reality TV shows that only exist in my mind (for now)
I don’t do this because it’s “fun.” I do this because it’s how I remember who the hell I am.
Because when you’ve spent your life surviving, betraying your desires to please others, masking your gifts to be more digestible—your imagination is your rebellion.
Imagination as a Spell
Imagination isn’t a fantasy—it’s pre-manifestation. It’s the rehearsal space for the life you’re creating. When you picture something and feel it in your body, you’re sending out a signal. That’s spellcasting. That’s reality-bending.
I mean, duh. Where do you think sacred geometry came from? IKEA??
So if your life feels dull, flat, repetitive—don’t just fix your schedule. Fix your imagination. Let her get weird. Let her dance naked under moonlight and build weird temples and picture your healing business blowing up in the best, most aligned, most YOU kind of way.
She knows the way.
🖤 Your imagination is the map your soul left behind so you could find your way home.
Don’t ignore it.
